Peter Davies
Peter Davies was formerly
the managing partner and senior litigation partner of a large
law firm with offices in Cardiff and London. In 1998, Peter established
his own specialist practice in South Wales.
Peter has handled numerous high value,
complex personal injury cases. He also deals with claims against
other professionals including accountants, architects and solicitors.
In addition, he represents clients in a broad range of commercial
contract, employee- related and matrimonial disputes.
A member of the Law Society’s accredited
Personal Injury Panel and Association of Personal Injury Lawyers,
he is also a qualified Arbitrator. He has been a part-time Judge
and sits on the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal. Peter
also sits on a number of committees concerned with developments
in the law.
In 2001, Peter was elected President
of the Associated Law Societies of Wales, an organisation which
represents nearly 3000 solicitors practising in Wales and is currently
President of the Local Authority Adjudication Panel for Wales.
In his brief leisure moments, Peter enjoys
watching rugby, singing and consuming modest amounts of good food
and wine.
