He has been a part-time Judge and sits on the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal. Peter also sits on a number of committees concerned with developments in the law.

In 2001, Peter was elected President of the Associated Law Societies of Wales, an organisation which represents nearly 3000 solicitors practising in Wales and is currently President of the Local Authority Adjudication Panel for Wales.

In his brief leisure moments, Peter enjoys watching rugby, singing and consuming modest amounts of good food and wine.
